The Ministry of Education, through the National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA), has announced that the 2025/2026 National Secondary School Examinations will begin on 15 July 2026 and conclude on 24 July 2026. The examinations will be administered at 1,746 examination centres across the country.
A total of 258,255 candidates are expected to sit for the examinations. Of these, 149,533 are Ordinary Level (O-Level) candidates, while 108,722 are Advanced Level (A-Level) candidates. NESA stated that all necessary preparations have been completed to ensure the examinations are conducted smoothly, fairly, and transparently.
Among the registered candidates are 879 students with disabilities, who will receive the necessary examination accommodations and special support to ensure equal participation. The education authorities have called on students, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to work together to uphold integrity and ensure the successful administration of the national examinations.
